InvoiceFlyer ("we," "us," "our") is operated by PolicyFlyer, an independent publisher. Our website is located at invoiceflyer.com. We build lightweight tools for freelancers and small businesses.

2. What Data We Collect

Data you enter into the invoice generator

When you use the invoice generator, any information you type — business name, client name, addresses, line items — is processed entirely within your browser. This data is never transmitted to our servers. We have no database. We cannot read, access, or recover your invoice data.

AI generation requests

When you use the "Auto-fill with AI" feature, the text you type in the AI prompt field is sent to Groq's API to generate invoice content. This is the only time any of your input leaves your device. Please refer to Groq's Privacy Policy at groq.com/privacy for how they handle API requests.

Support (Buy Me a Coffee)

InvoiceFlyer is free to use. If you choose to support us via Gumroad, that transaction is handled entirely by Gumroad. We receive a notification that a contribution was made — we never receive, store, or have access to your payment card details. See Gumroad's Privacy Policy at gumroad.com/privacy.

Analytics (if applicable)

We may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as aggregate page views) to understand how the site is used. If enabled, this collects no personally identifiable information and uses no tracking cookies.

3. How We Use Your Data

To be direct: we use almost no personal data, because we collect almost none. The limited data that touches our systems is used only to:

• Verify license keys through Gumroad's API when you activate your purchase
• Understand aggregate site usage (page views, not individuals)
• Respond to support inquiries if you contact us directly

We do not use your data for advertising, do not build user profiles, and do not sell, rent, or share personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

4. Local Storage & Your Browser

InvoiceFlyer does not use localStorage for tracking or payments. No invoice data, no payment status, and no personal information is stored in your browser by our site.

5. Third-Party Services

InvoiceFlyer integrates with the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy which governs how they handle data:

• Groq API — AI text generation. Your AI prompt text is sent to Groq's servers to generate invoice content. groq.com/privacy
• Gumroad — Optional support/tip platform. Only applies if you choose to support us. gumroad.com/privacy
• Google Fonts — Fonts are loaded from Google's CDN. Google may log font requests. policies.google.com/privacy
• Netlify — Website hosting. Netlify may log standard web server data (IP addresses, request timestamps) as part of normal hosting operations. netlify.com/privacy

6. Cookies

InvoiceFlyer does not use tracking cookies. We use localStorage (not cookies) to store your invoice count and license key locally. These are not accessible to third parties and are not used for tracking or advertising.

Third-party services we use (Google Fonts, Netlify) may set their own cookies as part of their standard operation. We do not control these.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding personal data. Since we collect minimal personal data, most of these rights are straightforward to exercise:

• Right to access — We hold essentially no personal data about you. Your invoice data lives only in your browser.
• Right to deletion — Clear your browser's localStorage for invoiceflyer.com to remove all locally stored data. For Gumroad purchase records, contact Gumroad directly.
• Right to data portability — Your invoice data is in your browser and in any PDFs you've exported. It is already fully under your control.
• GDPR (EU users) — We operate as a minimal data processor. If you have specific GDPR-related requests, contact us at the address below.
• CCPA (California users) — We do not sell personal information. California residents have the right to request disclosure of any personal data collected, which in our case is minimal.

8. Children's Privacy

InvoiceFlyer is a business tool designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a minor has provided personal information through our service, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of InvoiceFlyer after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

We will not make changes that materially reduce your privacy rights without prominent notice on the site.
